Project Description

For our final project, we were given the task of creating and designing a play based off a book by Dan Saltzstein. Over the course of the program, we created a production titled That's So New York, which follows a college-aged girl in 1994 as she moves to New York for Grad School. The girl, Margot, struggles with her idealized expectations of New York as she faces harsh realities in the subway. Eventually, Margot learns to find the beauty in the little parts of the big city.

Our production, That's So New York, is a play that is designed to be performed at the Iris Cantor Theatre. We have designed the set, costumes, lights, and sound and we are so excited to share our ideas with you all!
